Hello, this is Race Riley on KISR 93.7 FM. I have lived in this area since after birth and I call Van Buren Pointer Country my hometown. I have been listening to KISR ever since I was a kid. The most memorable of weather events, by the way, I'm a Broadcast Meteorology Major, was the April 21st, 1996 Fort Smith/Van Buren Tornado.
My parents always listened to KISR when I was a kid and mainly because me and my little brother always wanted to listen to it (especially for me because when I'd hear the KISR Weather Bed, I'd crank it up LOUD and still do during LIVE & LOCAL weather coverage!) and I always told my parents when I was a kid that I would one day work for KISR and now, here I am. This is not only looked at as my job but, it too, is my hobby and my absolute favorite.
